Northern Ireland Hospice Certificate in Essential Palliative Care for Allied Health Professionals
This eight-week, distance learning programme is aimed at allied health professionals working in clinical practice who are new to specialist palliative care or who look after people who have palliative care needs on a regular basis.
The overall aims of the course are to enable participants to:
- Deepen their understanding of the principles and practice of palliative care
- Critically evaluate within their practice their role in promoting holistic patient and family centred care
- Integrate up-to-date and relevant theoretical palliative care knowledge into practice
