Practical guidance on the multi professional management of lymphoedema and lymphorrhea at end of life

  • Brief overview of pathophysiology underpinning oedema development at end of life
  • Lymphorrhoea: skin and wound care issues
  • Modified decongestive therapy at end of life: including support/palliative bandaging
  • Kinesiotaping
  • Use of compression garments
  • Ethical considerations on the multi-professional management of lymphoedema and lymphorrhea at end of life: case studies
  • Consideration of the impact of lymphoedema on daily life, role, independence, body image and self esteem.
