Aims: This course aims to raise awareness of grief, loss and bereavement in both Primary and Secondary schools, and to help teachers support pupils in class who have suffered bereavement.
Content:
  • theories & models of grief and loss
  • children’s understanding of death
  • case studies and tools for working with children
  • Developing a school strategy
