Courses : Seven Week Training Course in Bereavement Care

Aims:	The aim of this course is to provide participants with an awareness of grief and its impact on ourselves and others. The course is open to members of the public who in the course of their work or church life etc. offer support to bereaved relatives or friends
Content:	loss, change and adjustment - personal responses to grief, self awareness models of grief - traditional & modern complex grief bereaved children listening & communication skills spiritual issues in bereavement caring for ourselves
Assessment:	Northern Ireland Hospice Staff
Cost:	£160 £130(EB)
	NB. This course may not be suitable to anyone currently grieving or facing bereavement
