Education and Research are key activities within Northern Ireland Hospice. Our experienced multidisciplinary education and specialist clinical team offer a varied programme which provides a range of high quality learning opportunities in the form of study days and workshops, to meet the needs of those involved in providing palliative and end of life care.
The education department are pleased to offer the following eight week distance learning courses for busy professionals European Certificate in Essential Palliative Care and the Northern Ireland Hospice Certificate in Essential Palliative Care for Allied Health Professionals which are evaluated highly by those who have undertaken them.

Managing Bereavement in Schools - Friday 1 June 2012
This course aims to raise awareness of grief, loss and bereavement in both Primary and Secondary schools, and to help teachers support pupils in class who have suffered bereavement and to consider also the impact of other deaths on the school community.
